The UK has announced an indefinite extension of the CE marking of 18 categories of products into the UK market

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) announced on 2023.08.01 that it will extend the scope of CE marking for enterprises indefinitely, mainly due to the desire to reduce the burden on businesses and help the economy grow by reducing barriers and red tape.
In other words, after December 2024, the following 18 products can continue to use the CE mark or enter the UK market using the UKCA mark. These updates apply to the 18 products listed below under the jurisdiction of the Department for Commerce and Trade (DBT):

• Simple pressure vessels
• Electromagnetic compatible
• Non-automatic scales
• Measuring instruments
• Measuring containers and bottles

• Equipment for Potentially Explosive Atmospheres (ATEX)
• Radio equipment
• Pressure equipment
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Gas appliances
•machine
• Equipment for outdoor use
•aerosol
• Low-voltage electrical equipment
